Hello, allow us to introduce ourselves. Doug and I have been married for 17 years. We have a blended family of 5 children, all adults. They are now pursuing their own interests and their places in the God’s Kingdom. Our journey to take our place in God’s kingdom has been long and filled with sin and forgiveness, much like the failed characters found in the Bible. Our previous marriages were worldly and not Christ centered. That is no longer the case. We can’t say enough about how important it is to build your lives and marriages on the foundations found in the Word of God and to be in relationship with Him, continually pursuing Christ. Our one true desire is to experience our God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit the way God intended, knowing that power and authority given once to the disciples of the Bible belong to us as well. To be used by God to bring others into His kingdom and to bare witness to the signs and wonders that follow those surrendered to His will.
This blog is our attempt to minister to others. It is written in the Bible…
” And when I came to you, brethren, I did not come with superiority of speech or of wisdom, proclaiming to you the testimony of God. For I determined to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling, and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:1-5
Through the Holy Ghost we have been filled with a message for believers and non-believers. It is because of the love we have for Jesus Christ that we speak boldly and pray for God to continually guide us in helping others find the freedom found only through God…Freedom physically, spiritually, emotionally and financially. For those of you who read our blog please bare in mind that we are searching for truth, just like you. Occasionally we will share inspired words written by our friends or other words of encouragement and testimonies we believe will help deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ.

Every Blessing to you… I love how you guys are real… I come from and created a pretty dysfunctional family too. We (my third marriage) have been married now for 22 years, and spent 15 of it in Asia on the mission field.
Interesting to me that you use Observation and Application in your Bible lesson… but you have not had training per say… pretty good format… Keep up the “pressing in to His Word” and giving it away…
