Trust God, Not Man

Scripture: The people were amazed at his teaching, because he taught them as one who had authority, not as the teachers of the law. Mark 1:22 NIV

Observation: What comes from God has authority; what comes from man is “hot air!”

Application: When I need guidance, where do I turn? Do I go to God’s word as I should? Maybe I need to rethink how I deal with trials.

Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me your word. I want to lean on you and your understanding and not on my own. Help me to do that. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
