What a Shame

Scripture: The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. Genesis 3:21-23 NIV

Observation: I had a thought about these passages but it escaped me. I know that by re-reading them it sure appears that God had created heaven on earth and man forsook his life of ease for a life of pain and suffering.

Application: It’s a shame that man seems to ruin everything that God creates.

Prayer: Father, I’m sorry for what we have done with your creation. Amen

Life Scripture #2
