Bring on the Maturity

Scripture: Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 NIV

Observation: Happiness and joy when we face trials and tribulation? Yes, because of what is produced–perseverance which leads to maturity.

Application: I must pray for the strength to endure trials and hardships when they present themselves.

Prayer: Father, help me to withstand difficult times in my life when they occur. I desire the maturity which is promised. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
