An Angel is an Angel

Scripture: Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation? Hebrews 1:14 NIV

Observation: I’m afraid that grieving people who cry out for their past loved ones and claim that God “needed another angel,” simply don’t understand or have not read this passage recently. I too have lost and I too miss the friends and family that are gone, but I know that they are not angels. My prayer is to one day see them again in heaven where we will walk together and talk with our Lord. Angels are created beings that serve God and man. Angels weren’t men and men do not become angels.

Application: I should lovingly try to share this truth with people that misunderstand scripture.

Prayer: Father, I pray for those that grieve. I pray that I am able to share scriptural truth. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen
