Grace

Scripture: And if by grace, then it cannot be based on works; if it were, grace would no longer be grace. Romans 11:6 NIV

Observation: Paul makes a point about grace as spoken by Elijah.

Application: Paul basically teaches that grace isn’t grace if it’s earned. It is then something completely different. God’s grace is unearned and it is freely given. Our faith in Jesus’ sacrifice results in God extending grace to us by not giving us what we deserve–eternal punishment.

Prayer: Father, thank you for your grace. Amen
