Provides a Way Out

Scripture: No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.  1 Corinthians 10:13 NIV

Observation: Paul teaches that no one is tempted beyond his ability to cope.

Application: This is a good lesson for a short-suffering man like me. I need to take this to heart. I need to practice long-suffering and learn to be patient. Paul says that God gives me the ability to cope with anything and endure hardship.

Prayer: Father, thank you for giving me the ability to cope with difficulties. Help me to learn patience. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
