Beware

Scripture: Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 2 John 1:7 NIV

Observation: John warns the early church to beware of false teachers.

Application: We too need to be on guard for deceivers. Fakes and misleading “shepherds” abound in these last days. Their purpose is to convince as many people as possible to follow them not the Lord.

Prayer: Father, help me to always know your true teachers. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
