July 11, 12, & 13 Incomplete Entries

The following scriptures and unfinished S.O.A.P. entries are a result of being a “Christian-in-training” These three incomplete entries are from July 11, 12, and 13. On July 14th I believe that God intended for me to write a thought about my current difficulties in journaling my S.O.A.P. but I never got around to it. When I read and wrote July 15th’s entry it all became clear to me. You will have to be patient with me and wade through all of the gunk to get to the final point–two entries from this one. Good luck.

Untitled I

Scripture: The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First he says: “This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds.” Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” 18 And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin.  Hebrews 10:15-18 NIV

God spoke something today and I couldn’t hear it or I didn’t listen.

Untitled II

Scripture: This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put my laws in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest. Hebrews 8:10,11 NIV

Observation: God

Application: With Christ–we now have

God spoke something today and I couldn’t hear it or I didn’t listen.

Untitled III

Scripture: When Christ came as high priest of the good things that are already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not man‑made, that is to say, not a part of this creation. He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, having obtained eternal redemption. Hebrews 9:11,12 NIV

Observation:

God spoke something today and I couldn’t hear it or I didn’t listen.
