Stay True

Scripture: See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. Hebrews 3:12,13 NIV

Observation: The author reminds us of the important part that believers play in keeping each other accountable and strong.

Application: We are called to flee from our sinful natures and encourage our brothers and sisters in the faith. Our relationship with Jesus is ours; our friends in Christ can help us remain true to him.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for giving me loving accountability partners of faith. Many times through their guidance I am reminded to flee from sin or a sinful attitude and to stay true to your call on my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen
