Be Bold in the Spirit

Scripture: Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge. 1 Timothy 6:20 NIV

Observation: Paul warns Timothy to remain true to him ministry and flee from gossip and false doctrine.

Application: This is good teaching for all of us. If we shun gossip and false teaching we are more likely to follow our true calling, sharing the gospel. Allow the Spirit to guide your life, protect you against false teaching, and strengthen your witness.

Prayer: Father, I ask that your Spirit guide and protect my steps. I ask for strength in sharing you with those in my sphere of influence. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
