To Live is Christ

Scripture: For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21 NIV

Observation: Paul speaking to the Philippians.

Application: As I grow as a Christian I find myself thinking about the Lord throughout the day. I think about what Christ went through for me and it sobers me. I constantly speak to him about my wife, children, and life in general. The instant that I commit a sin I feel a heaviness in my heart and I immediately want to repent and make amends. I believe that this is what Paul meant when he said “…to live is Christ…” I don’t ever want to hurt or offend the Lord. I only want to live for him.

Prayer: Father, thank you for putting up with a sinner like me. I pray to be less offensive with each passing day. I love you. Amen

Purpose

Our blog is written from our life experiences in hope of helping others know and believe there is love, forgiveness, and deliverance found in Jesus Christ. No matter where you have been or where you are headed Jesus provides hope and freedom from the challenges we face living in this world.
