Not Even One

Scripture: As it is written: “There is no one righteous, not even one…” Romans 3:10 NIV

Observation: Paul is teaching the Romans about righteousness.

Application: Throughout this book Paul repeatedly compares the salvation of Jews and non-Jews. It is clear in verse 10 that no one is righteous before the Lord. Only through Christ can any of us receive righteousness and become reconciled to God.

Prayer: Father, thank you for the teaching in the book of Romans. Thank you for giving me the ability to stand righteous before you through Christ. I love you. Amen

And so it was with me, brothers and sisters. When I came to you, I did not come with eloquence or human wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God.
