Jesus Transforms

Scripture: They did not destroy the peoples as the Lord had commanded them, but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.  They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them. Psalm 106:34-36 NIV

Observation: The Psalmist advises that  Israel’s downfall was their failure to separate themselves from the nations around them.

Application: We should learn from Israel. Their failure should be our success. We must not conform to the influences of society.  We should strive to set a Christian example that will transform it.

Prayer: Father, help me to be strong in the face of difficulty. Help my life be an example to others of the love of Jesus and his transforming power. I ask this in Jesus’ name. Amen
