Observation: The lord can heal us from a multitude of hurts, even the deepest kind. He leads us to a life were he is our father fulfilling our need for love and acceptance. He gives us purpose as we follow the path he puts before us.
Application: My father passed away early Saturday morning and I’ve been dealing with a wave of memories since I heard. My journey towards Christ began in my teens and it was lonely for me because belief in Him wasn’t encouraged by my parents. It’s only through God’s love for his children that I am living on the path that he laid out for me.
Prayer: Thank you Heavenly Father for the patience you have shown me over and over. Thank you for your love and guidance. Thank you for your Holy Spirit that helps me take every painful thought and memory captive, making it obedient to Christ.
Additional Note: My father was a loving and caring man those life would have had so much more meaning if he lived for Christ. I miss you Daddy! I love you.
